Christian Education is not simply education for education's sake, nor is it merely driven by pragmatic necessities; it is a ministry of the church. Christian Education seeks simply to impart knowledge or raise levels of cognition or awareness falls short of education as a calling to pastoral service within the community of faith.
Our church's educational ministry consists of several foundational elements. This ministry goal is intentionally directed towards making disciples of Jesus Christ. The Christian Education Ministry provides an agenda of discipleship opportunities, which include new members’ orientation; men's and women's groups; specific seminars and training opportunities (e.g., spiritual gift identification and development, leadership training, church safety policies and practices); one-on-one and small group mentoring and accountability; intergenerational relationships; family-oriented ministries; church-wide retreats.
Life Enhancement Class is held every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

The primary responsibilities of the Director of Women’s Ministry are to help build, mentor, and support the women via workshops, group sessions, conferences, and prayer/fasting. The vision for the Women’s Ministry is to provide a safe place for the women to come together as sisters, daughters, mothers, friends, and ministry partners to promote growth and self-development spiritually, physically, and mentally in their local church and society. It is a vision of unity with a doctrinally sound and programmatic approach to ministry that seeks to not only meet every woman at the point of her need, but to strengthen her, so that she fulfills her God-given purpose in the Kingdom.

The Outreach Ministry is a ministry of volunteers who introduce people in the community to the church by making them aware of God’s love for them through consideration and compassion. This ministry is a starting point for many people on their path to a relationship with Jesus Christ. UILM in Huntsville’s goal is to reach out to the community in love and service, with the ultimate purpose of witnessing to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
The purpose and function of the Outreach Ministry is not just to meet the needs in the community, it is “establishing a beachhead for evangelism in a person’s life.” The Outreach Ministry stimulates church growth by mobilizing members to minister to the un-churched. The Church picks up where outreach ends, providing the worship, fellowship, and discipleship opportunities that, along with ministry and evangelism supporting our church motto, “Each One Reach Someone!”
